<p>NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R is H or OH). EXAMPLE:23-Deoxy-23-(1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridino)-mycaminosyl tylonolide of formula II. USE:An antibacterial agent effective to Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. PREPARATION:The compound of formula III (R<1> is protected aldehyde group; X is halogen) (e.g. 23-deoxy-23-iodo-mycaminosyl tylonolide diethylacetal) is made to react with 1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine preferably in an organic solvent such as THF under heating, and the protecting group of the aldehyde group is removed with e.g. hydrochloric acid to obtain the objective compound.</p> |
