发明名称 LAMINATED HIGH POLYMER PIEZO-ELECTRIC TYPE ULTRASONIC PROBE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a highly reliable ultrasonic probe by a method wherein a plurality of high polymer piezo-electric bodies are laminated with polarization axes as opposed to one another in the direction and strips-shaped metal film are interposed on the opposed surfaces thereof as driving electrode to eliminate complication positioning of the strips-shaped electrodes at the lamination thereof. CONSTITUTION:A silver layer is evaporated on one side of a film produced by uniaxially stretching fluorine-containing high polymer such as polyvinylidene fluoride and the work is subjected to polarization under a high temperature and a high voltage to make a piezo-electric element 14. The silver layer provides a common electrode 15 by patterning. The piezo-electric body 14 thus obtained is bent with the electrode 15 outward to make the polarization axes as opposed to one another in the direction. Electrode material 18 such as Ag in the form of strips is inserted between the piezo-electric body 14 thus bent and pressed under pressure through an epoxy resin based adhesive 17 to obtain a laminated piezo-electricbody 13 as electrode 16 by adhesive lamination thereof. The long axis of the electrode 16 is made parallel with the direction of uniaxially stretching the piezo-electric body 14. This eliminates the complication in the position of the electrode 16 of the laminated piezo-electric body 14 while enabling a thickner film of the electrode 16 to obtain a highly reliable ultrasonic probe preventing disconnection or the like with a reduction in the loss.
