PURPOSE:To accurately restore phase relations of information data in a simple and general constitution by determining the division phase for recording based on synchronizing data and obtaining synchronizing data based on the reproduced phase corresponding to the division phase at the time of reproducing. CONSTITUTION:Information data is inputted to a selecting circuit 31, and 16-bit information data of every two bytes is inputted to time base converting circuits 32A to 32D, and a prescribed space part is added to information data, and this information data is sent to 16-8 converting circuits 33A to 33D. Circuits 33A to 33D convert input data to 8-bit data and send it to ID-1 recording circuits 1A to 1D. Recording signal are supplied to magnetic heads 15A to 15D or 15E to 15H through recording/reproducing switching circuits 34A to 34D and head switching circuits 35A to 35D. Meanwhile, a data synchronizing signal PSYNC corresponding to phase relations of input information data DTINIO is applied to a selecting circuit 31 and is inputted to a reference synchronizing signal generating circuit 36. The circuit 36 sends a head control reference synchronizing signal to the recording part 1A and an ID-1 reproducing part 20A, and a control track reference signal is written on a magnetic tape 14, and switching is con trolled by the signal from the circuit 36. |
