PURPOSE:To provide an information recording medium capable of printing invisible information in a state near to a ground white color natural from an aspect of a design, capable of printing variable information inherent at every bill related commodity as invisible information and enhanced in the security against alteration. CONSTITUTION:An infrared absorbing ink layer 2 consisting of powder phosphate glass at least based on phosphorus pentoxide and containing 1.0wt.% or more of iron oxide and/or copper oxide and a binder and the thermal recording layer 3 laminated on the infrared absorbing ink layer and containing hollow microcapsules and low in infrared transmissivity at room temp. and increasing infrared transmissivity at predetermined temp. or higher are provided on a substrate 1. If necessary, a visible light blocking layer 4 and a protective layer 5 may be provided. |
