SOLUTION: In the measuring and controlling method, the amount of water contained in ink on an ink roller is measured per width of an ink key to obtain the distribution of amounts of water in the width direction of the roller, and the amount of feed water is controlled by referring to the distribution of amounts of water. And the measuring and controlling device includes a means to measure the amount of water contained in ink on the ink roller per width of the ink key to obtain the distribution of amounts of water in the width direction of the roller, and a control means to control the amount of feed water by referring to the distribution of amounts of water. |
