PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving safety device for a vehicle allowing a driver composedly taking an avoidance action even when a preceding vehicle exists between an own vehicle and an object existing on a way of the own vehicle. SOLUTION: When object information such as existence of drop-off article is received by an antenna receiver via road-vehicle communication (S1), it is judged based on information received from a radar device if a preceding vehicle exists between the article and the own vehicle (S2). If a preceding vehicle exists, a correction member C is calculated by summing up vehicle length, free running distance, and distance of braking duration of the preceding vehicle (S3). Then, operation timing Li is corrected by summing free running distance, and distance of braking duration of the own vehicle on the correction member C (S4). It is judged with using the operation timing Li if it is a timing to provide information and issue an alarm (S5, S7). Issue of an information provision message and an alarm message is selectively done (S6, S8).
