OPTICAL PATH SWITCHING COMPONENT FOR OPTICAL SERIAL BUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical path switching component which suitably actualizes a plug-and-play function in an optical serial bus network composed of the optical path switching component between an optical fiber and an optical serial bus board. SOLUTION: This is an optical path switching component used for an optical serial bus network composed of an optical fiber 2 as a transmission medium, an optical serial bus board 5 which receives and transmits data, and an optical path switching component which switches the optical path from the network to the optical serial bus board 5. Here, a terminal 4 equipped with an optical serial bus board 5 is connected to the optical path switching component to automatically switch the optical path switching component, thereby actualizing the plug-and-play function of the terminal 4.
