A fluorescent lamp system for a vehicle has at least one fluorescent lamp whose fluorescent tube (1) is enclosed by a at least partly transparent housing (2,3,8), in which a transformer (5) or a ballast device is connected to the fluorescent tube (1). The housing (2,3,8) is two- or multi-part structure with the individual housing parts seal-tight joined to one another. More specifically, the housing is designed as a tube (2) provided with a protective foil (3), in which are embedded a fluorescent material-tube-terminal wires (7,7'). |
