PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe change-over apparatus capable of easily changing an ultrasonic probe and making a stable ultrasonic diagnosis. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic probe change-over apparatus is provided with a frame 21 mounted to an ultrasonograph body 30; two receptacles 23a, 23b fixed to the frame 21 and cooperating with plugs 12a, 12b; a plug 22 fixed to the frame 21 through an elastic member (not shown in the figure) and cooperating with a receptacle 32; and a signal change-over section 25 fixed to the frame 21 and self-containing a relay 25a and a relay driving part 25b for driving the relay 25a for relaying the plug 22 and two receptacles 23a, 23b, to connect the requested receptacle out of two receptacles 23a, 23b to the plug 22.
