PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a plasma display apparatus capable of sticking a panel and a chassis member which is a holding board, by an adhesive member so that holding force is strong enough not to fall off during transport and use and also, so that generation of noise from the panel during driving is suppressed. SOLUTION: When the panel 21 is stuck to the chassis member 25 via the adhesive member 26, the adhesive member 26 is interposed between the panel 21 and the chassis member 25 to superpose them on each other and they are pinched by pressing boards 27 and 28 which are larger than the panel 21 and the chassis member 25 in size and which have elasticity. Thereafter, in this state, they are stuck by applying a weight of 250kg to 500kg load from outside the pressing boards 27 and 28. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
