There is provided an electronic device system including at least one electronic device and an input device. At the side of the electronic device (20), a predetermined operation concerning the commercial exhibition mode is executed only according to a predetermined command issued by the input device (10). Thus, even when a plurality of electronic devices (20) are arranged, a commercial exhibition mode start operation for each of the electronic devices (20) can be executed by the one input device (10). Here, the input device (10) is given only to the side performing the commercial exhibition such as the store side so that use of the input device (10) is disabled for an ordinary user. That is, when a general user uses the electronic device, the commercial exhibition mode cannot be started.
