摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens having near infrared light absorption enabling color sensitivity correction by having an optical function as the lens suitable for a compact imaging device mounted with a semiconductor imaging element; and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The lens is formed by molding with fluorophosphate glass including Cu<SP>2+</SP>by precision press. In particular, when a thickness in a center axis part is t<SB>0</SB>[mm] and a content of Cu<SP>2+</SP>in the glass is M<SB>Cu</SB>[cationic%], M<SB>Cu</SB>×t<SB>0</SB>is in a range of 0.9-1.6 cationic% mm. The method of manufacturing the lens spreads the glass in a cavity in press molding when pressing a glass preform consisting of fluorophosphate glass including Cu<SP>2+</SP>by an upper and lower mold and fills a glass entire region.
