PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel of which the manufacturing yield is improved by reducing defective wiring in a region where an IC chip for driving the liquid crystal display panel is mounted. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display panel which is equipped with an array substrate 2 being equipped with source lines SW<SB>1</SB>-SW<SB>n</SB>and gate lines GW<SB>1</SB>-GW<SB>n</SB>, and a counter transparent substrate 10, and having the IC chip mounting regions GDR<SB>1</SB>, GDR<SB>2</SB>, SDR mounted on a substrate peripheral section, a plurality of routing lines SL<SB>1</SB>-SL<SB>n</SB>, GL<SB>1</SB>-GL<SB>n</SB>connected to the gate lines or to the source lines and routed on the substrate peripheral section are introduced into the IC chip mounting regions, terminals 6<SB>1</SB>-6<SB>n</SB>for implementation are arranged on the routing lines, leads SL'<SB>1</SB>-S'L<SB>n</SB>, GL'<SB>1</SB>-GL'<SB>n</SB>are withdrawn from the respective terminals for implementation, terminals 7<SB>1</SB>-7<SB>n</SB>for inspection are formed on the leads, and furthermore at least one set of the leads on the IC chip mounting regions are grouped by pairing two mutually adjacent leads and laminating them, one at a lower level and the other at a higher level with an insulating layer interposed therebetween.
