<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet for providing a good image which exhibits a high transfer density on a high speed processing, has less defects on the image caused by heat fusion with ink and less inferiority of passing properties, and has no unevenness of transfer of a protective layer, and to provide a method for forming the image using this. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer image-receiving sheet has one or more receiving layers comprising respectively one or more polymer latexes containing a repeating unit obtained from vinyl chloride and micro-crystalline wax dispersions, and a melting temperature of a base wax of the microcrystalline wax dispersion is 15°C or higher than the glass transition temperature of the polymer latex. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
