<p>The building drier (10) can function in virtually every orientation and comprises a compressor (14), a condenser (18) and an evaporator (16) for evaporation and condensation of a medium. The three main constituents are fixed to a frame, which is positionable between first and second positions. The frame in the second position is rotated in relation to it in the first position. The compressor is so hinged in its fixture that it is positioned principally upright, if the frame is positioned between the first and second positions. The drier has a housing (12) and a fan (20). It also has first, second and third supports (22,24,26). A wheel (28) enables the drier to be mobile. Condensate moisture formed on the condenser is collected in an appropriate container (38). The compressor, evaporator and condenser function together to demoisturize the air flow through the drier by firstly cooling the air to below the dewpoint, so that a part of the moisture in the air condenses. The cold air is then heated and has a low relative moisture content. The air flow through the drier is generated by the fan.</p> |
