<p>A pack cosmetic using sodium alginate contains an organic/inorganic acid, a carbonate salt, sodium alginate, a gelation agent, and a gelation modifier, wherein at least one of the organic/inorganic acid and the carbonate salt is coated with a hydrophobic organic compound to control the generation rate of carbon dioxide. The pack cosmetic using sodium alginate generates carbon dioxide slowly throughout the period of a gelation process of sodium alginate, so it not only imparts a satisfactorily comfortable physical stimulation to the skin through generation of carbon dioxide, but also supplies more oxygen to the skin by promoting blood circulation.</p> |
