The invention relates to a process and an installation for obtaining AlOfibres from aluminium metal wastes, such as wastes of drink cans, aluminium waste sheet metal, aluminium-silicon alloys. According to the invention, the process consists in preparing directly a clear solution of precursors of aluminium or aluminium-silicon, after which an aqueous solution of polyvinyl-alcohol is admixed, the mixture being concentrated by evaporation as a film, under vacuum, wherefrom the spinning precursor results, this precursor being then spun into filaments which are oriented by electro-spinning at high voltages and collected by winding on a collector, the raw fibres being further subjected to calcination, to result in ceramic AlOfibres. The installation, as claimed by the invention, comprises a thermostated reactor () for the solubilization of metal wastes, a stirring vessel () for solutions, a rotary concentrator () with vacuum evaporator, an electro-spinning device consisting of a high-voltage source () and a rotary collector () and a drying and calcination oven (). |
