PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an image quality same as ordinary paper to be maintained, while preventing the occurrence of scattering, fogging, voiding or the like even in the case of adopting media hardly holding the image quality by providing a controlling means for switching/controlling the printing sequence while selecting the printing sequence condition based on the media designated information received by a receiving means. SOLUTION: A receiving means 88 receives a specified command from a printer controller 11 and the media designating information, and checks whether it is received or not. The printing sequence switching means 87 is, based on the command from the receiving means 88 and the media designating information, selects electrophotographic conditions such as the high voltage bias value becoming the optimum with regard to the media, transferring speed and the printing sequence conditions such as the fixing speed, and instructs printing sequence controlling means 83 to switch the printing sequence. Then, the printing operation is executed in accordance with the operation timing of printing sequence controlling means 83. |
