To produce the fabric for a roller blind, two fabric lengths (11,12) are brought together at their facing longitudinal edges (13,14) on the same plane. An adhesive (23) may be applied to at least one side of the fabrics. The edge zones (21,22) of both fabrics are at least partially impregnated, and the space (17) between the longitudinal edges of the fabrics is at least partially filled. The adhesive coating is hardened, and the two fabrics are durably bonded together.
