PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly manufacture reel units which can be smoothly rotated, and sufficiently reduce the manufacturing cost of the reel units. SOLUTION: A reel unit is composed of a reel body consisting of a pair of frames 32, 33 and a symbol sheet applied to the outer peripheral surface of the reel body. The reel body is rotated by a stepping motor, having an output shaft 37 in which an insertion pin 38 is inserted orthogonal thereto. During assembly of this reel body, the outer peripheral part of the insertion pin 38 is made to abut against recesses 32f, 33f in the frames 32, 33, and shaft fixing pawls 32g, 33g of the frames 32, 33 are inserted in pawl engaging holes 33h, 32h. Simultaneously, fixing pins 32i, 33i of the frame 32, 33 are fitted in pin engaging holes 33j, 32j in the frame 32, 33 and the reel body is locked by the insertion pin 38. |
