TAIL KNOCKING STRUCTURE OF LIQUID APPLICATOR, SUCH AS WRITING IMPLEMENT AND COSMETIC IMPLEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to set the low pressing force of the knocking part of the tail end knocking structure of a liquid applicator, such as writing implements and cosmetic implements, in compliance with ordinary use and to improve durability to a knocking operation. SOLUTION: This writing implement has a shaft cylinder 1 and is constituted to flow out ink from a pen point by opening a valve when the knocking part 27 is knocked. This knocking part 27 has an elastic body 28 which closes the tail end of the shaft cylinder 1 and is restorably deformed at the time of the knocking operation. A projecting part 1b having an approximately L shape in section which projects inward from the inner peripheral surface and is further bent toward the rear side in the axial direction is integrally molded of a synthetic resin material over the entire periphery of the inner peripheral surface of the shaft cylinder 1. The elastic body 28 is molded of an elastic material after the molding of the projecting part 1b in such a manner that its outer peripheral edge 31B clamps the projecting part 1b in a tight contact state. The inner peripheral surface of the shaft cylinder 1 forward from the projecting part 1b exhibits the shape capable of releasing the core forming the inner peripheral surface forward.
