PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated brake assembly capable of reducing a manufacturing cost and capable of reducing the number of part items. SOLUTION: This gear elevator driving device 10 has an output shaft 18 born by a bearing 24 arranged on a wall surface of a housing 12, and also has a disc brake assembly integrated by respectively having a base 30, a magnet coil 32, a reinforcing plate 34 and a disc subassembly 36. The base 30 is integrally formed in an outer wall part 38 of an apparatus housing or a gear box housing 12. When a power source to the magnet coil 32 is cut off, a protective plate 34 is pressed down in the direction of an annular brake plate 62 by a spring, so that a plate 62 presses a disc 60 to brake rotation of the output shaft 18 and a pulley 20. |
