1526353 Solvents for dyes used in pressuresensitive copying paper KUREHA KAGAKU KOGYO KK 30 April 1976 [2 May 1975] 17758/76 Heading C4A [Also in Division D2] A solvent, useful for preparing a dye solution to be employed in pressure-sensitive copying paper, comprises as a first component (a) an aromatic hydrocarbon selected from alkyl naphthalenes, alkyl biphenyls, dibenzyl toluene, diaryl ethanes and hydrogenated terphenyls and mixtures of two or more of such aromatic hydrocarbons, and as a second component (b) at feast one aliphatic acid diester of the formula: ROOC-(-CH 2 -) n -COOR wherein R is methyl or ethyl and n is a number from 2 to 4, the component (b) being present in an amount of 0À5 to 10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the component (a). |
