摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a recording film which obviates the generation of pinholes and has a large margin to maintain high coercive force as against the deviation of compsn. by oxidation by forming the recording film of a TbCoCu recording film. CONSTITUTION:An Si3N4 protective film 2, the TbCoCu recording film 3 and an Si3N4 protective film 4 are successively formed by thin film forming means such as sputtering method on a resin substrate 1. The recording film having the high-coercive force is thereby obtd. and the recording film which obviates the generation and propagation of the pinholes is obtd. In addition, the recording film which is widened in the range of the high coercive force compsn. and is increased in the margin for the fluctuation of the compsn. by oxidation is obtd. The magneto-optical recording medium of which the recording and reproducing characteristics are extremely less deteriorated with lapse of time is formed.
