PURPOSE:To simply, quickly connect and to increase the strength and sealing capability by holding an insulating ring which fixes a solid electrolyte tube with the clamp of a friction welder, and friction-welding the one end of the insulating ring with the end surface of a cathode container or an anode con tainer while rotating oppositely each other. CONSTITUTION:A cathode container 2 or an anode container 4 is held with clamps 17, 22 on the rotating side or the fixing side of a friction welder. An insulating ring 3 which fixes a solid electrolyte tube 5 is held with the clamp 22 on the fixing side or the rotating side of the friction welder. The end surfaces 3a, 3b of the insulating ring 3 and the end surface 2a of the cathode container 2 or the end surface 4a of the anode container 4a are friction-welded with they rotated oppositely each other. The cathode container, the insulating ring, and the anode container are connected simply and quickly, and the strength and sealing capability in the connected part are increased. |
