Alkoxymethyl-substituted pyridonebiphenyls A b s t r a c t Alkoxymethyl-substituted pyridonebiphenyls are prepared by reacting corresponding pyridones with biphenylmethyl halogen compounds. The alkoxymethyl-substituted pyridonebiphenyls can be employed as active compounds in medicaments in particular for the treatment of hypertension and atherosclerosis.
