PURPOSE: A data multiplexing method of ARCNET(Attached Resource Computer network) is to allow the ARCNET entity to support a plurality of inner network paths and operate a plurality of network processors at the same time in one station. CONSTITUTION: A data multiplexing processing method comprises the steps of: designating a network address information map at an ARCNET(S1); when transmitting a data packet from a station to a target station, paging a transmission function using an identification code corresponding to each of the address information of the network map(S2); searching the network map using the identification code and obtaining a calling processor address, a target station and target processor address information(S3); inserting the obtained calling processor address, the target station and the target processor address information into a data region of the ARCNET data packet and transmitting the inserted data (S4); obtaining the address information from the data packet to be received and searching the network map designated at the ARCNET entity(S5), and determining whether there is same address information representing the processor of the station(S6); and transmitting the received data to a corresponding processor when there exists a combination of the same address information(S7).
