<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily check the presence of shoes in a dark place by the generation of luminescence by a method wherein a plurality of kinds of synthetic rubber polymers are kneaded to a Mooney viscosity and a filler, vulcanization accelerator, etc., are uniformly added to the polymers and a luminous pigment is added thereto, which polymers are fed into a die to mold them at specific temperatures. SOLUTION: A plurality of kinds of synthetic rubber polymers are sufficiently kneaded by a kneader or mill to a Mooney viscosity to enhance the machinability, and then a filler, oil, vulcanization accelerator, supplement vulcanization accelerator, etc., are uniformly added to the whole of the rubber, following which a luminous pigment or fluorescent pigment is added to the rubber, which rubber is further kneaded, and a necessary amount of rubber is taken out to preform it. The preformed rubber is then put into a die of shoes and vulcanized and molded at 150-170 deg.C for 5-20 minutes to fabricate a sole. A luminous rubber product can absorb the light of the sun, electric or fluorescent light, store, and emit the light repeatedly, and also can continue such effects for a long period of time.</p> |
