PURPOSE:To provide a garbage treatment device suppressed in the generation of an offensive smell by simple control and capable of being arranged indoors. CONSTITUTION:A garbage treatment device is equipped with a drying chamber 1 receiving garbage to dry the same, a fan 6 and a heater 5 as a means drying the garbage in the drying chamber 1, the catalyst 9 deodorizing the offensive smell emitted from the drying chamber 1 and a catalyst heater 8, and the temp. control of the catalyst 9 for enhancing deodorizing effect and the control of the quantity of heat applied to garbage for the sake of suppressing the generation of an offensive smell are performed. |
