OPTICAL DISK MOLDING MOLD FOR INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a mold due to a position gap of upper and lower molds generated by difference of thermal expansion and to prevent deterioration of a disc monoplate in a multi-cavity molding mold of optical discs. SOLUTION: A movable side unit 1 of a lower mold is engaged by a clamp 2 to make a clearance 3 between the movable side unit 1 and the clamp 2 and thereby the movable side unit 1 can move in a horizontal direction on an attachment plate 4 while being restrained from moving in an up-and-down direction. Since the lower mold is positioned at the upper mold by action of a faucet joint 5, the lower mold can be positioned under any temperature condition by accompanying thermal expansion of the upper mold to prevent damage due to seizure of molds caused by a positional shift coming from difference of thermal expansion of upper and lower molds and to prevent eccentricity of a pit-shape of a disc mono-plate.
