PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner greatly reducing a labor when disposing of dust of a dust collecting chamber. SOLUTION: When disposing of dust, a handle 10 of an opening part is released from a locking part 11 of the handle, the handle 10 is operated with a hand and the opening part 9 is turned around a turning shaft 12. Then, the opening part can be opened at a single operation. When the opening part 9 is opened, a projection 8 connected to the opening part 9 is rotated therewith, dust stuck to the dust collecting chamber 7 is scraped off and easily disposed of.
