EMOTION RECOGNIZING METHOD AND APPARATUS USING SPECTRAL ENTROPY OF SPEECH SIGNAL

PURPOSE: An emotion recognizing method and device using a spectral entropy of a speech signal is provided to conveniently and easily perform the emotion recognition by applying to not only the voice PC environment but also the embedded environment(mobile communications terminal, PDA, etc.). CONSTITUTION: The emotion recognizing method using the spectral entropy of the speech signal is as follows. The spectrum entropy value for each frame of the emotion evaluation model generating voice signal is calculated and the emotion evaluation model is generated(S106). The voice signal for the evaluation is inputted. The spectrum entropy value for each frame of the evaluation voice signal is calculated and applied to the emotion evaluation model. The emotion according to the evaluation voice signal is recognized.
