Provided is an apparatus for controlling a power of a solar array. The apparatus for controlling a power of a solar array comprises: an MPPT control unit for generating a duty control signal for controlling a voltage of the solar array by using a comparison result with at least one of a prior applied current and a prior applied voltage to correspond to at least one of an applied current and an applied voltage which are applied from the solar array; a bulk converter for controlling a switching time of the applied current and the applied voltage according to the duty control signal, converting the size of the switched applied current and applied voltage, and generating an output voltage of the solar array to be transmitted to a battery; and a voltage comparison unit for generating a power control signal by comparing the output voltage with a pre-assigned reference voltage.
