PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring the temperature and concentration in a three-dimensional device, a device for measuring the temperature and concentration in an internal combustion engine, and a method for measuring the temperatures and concentration in the internal combustion engine and three-dimensional device with which it is possible to measure the temperature and gas concentration in an internal local area of a three-dimensional device that includes a gas component at lower cost with higher accuracy than in prior art, and, as a result, possible to measure the internal temperature distribution and concentration in the three-dimensional device at low cost with high accuracy.SOLUTION: Terahertz waves TW1, TW2 whose frequencies are within the range 0.01 THz to 10 THz are transmitted from a plurality of transmission antennas 21a, 21b toward the inside of a three-dimensional device. An interference region IT where the terahertz waves TW1, TW2 interfere with each other. A terahertz wave SW is received from this interference region IT. The temperature and the concentration of a gas component in the interference region IT are calculated on the basis of the intensity of the received terahertz wave SW.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
