PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible wet performance and operation stability performance.SOLUTION: Horizontal main grooves 16 formed in a tread 12 extend in a direction intersecting circumferential main grooves 14, and opened into the circumferential main grooves 14. Thus, when wet-traveling, water between the tread 12 and a road surface is discharged to the circumferential main grooves 14 via the horizontal main groove 16. At the end of each horizontal main groove 16 where the horizontal main groove 16 is opened into the circumferential main groove 14, there is an intersection part 18 where one land 21 and the other land 22 adjacent to the horizontal main groove in the circumferential direction of the tire intersect so as to support each other in the width direction of the tire. This makes ends of the lands 21 and 22 on the circumferential main groove 14 side hardly collapsed even if the tire has a large slip angle. |
