PURPOSE:To select a task which is abnormally ended in processing and restarted without spoiling the efficiency of the resource of a system in case of the occurrence of a deadlock among tasks which perform multiprocessing. CONSTITUTION:Resource consumption counters 51, 52...5n are provided for the tasks 61, 62...6n which perform the multiprocessing and count the using time of central processing unit from the start of task execution and the frequency of use of input/output devices. A task deadlock detecting means 2 when detecting the deadlock sends an object task number to a task resource consumption determining means 3. The task resource consumption determining means 3 determines a task which is small in the resource consumption among the using time of central processor unit and input/output device use frequency according to the value of the resource consumption counter for the object task and instructs a deadlock task recovery means 4 to abnormally end and restart the task. |
