A device 1 adapted to be mounted between a lens L and a camera body C consists of a casing having a mount 2 defining an opening for the entry of light, and a mount 3 defining an opening for the exit of light, first 4 and second 5 pairs of mirrors being disposed within the casing so that light entering the casing is reflected by one mirror 4a of the first pair 10 the second pair of mirrors which reflects light though 180 degrees to the second mirror 4b of the first pair by which light is reflected to the exit opening, the second pair of mirrors being movable towards and away from the first pair and means for transmitting the movement of an automatic diaphragm control lever mounted in the camera body to a diaphragm setting lever which is mounted on the lens and movement of which adjusts the diaphragm opening. The second pair of mirrors 5a, 5b are mounted upon a movable arm having a bent upper portion 6<SP>1</SP>, a portion of the light-tight casing being formed as a light-tight bellows 7 to permit movement of portion 6<SP>1</SP> under the control of a rack and pinion mechanism. The casing is attached to a tripod base-plate 13 and adjustable thereon by a further rack and pinion 17. Levers 8, 9 inter-connect a diaphragm control lever C, and a diaphragm setting lever L 1 . Several such devices may be mounted together. Prisms may be used in place of the mirrors. |
