A bracket 16 for supporting an end of a bar 12 comprises a plate-like base 18 provided on one face with a T-shaped stud 24 for engagement with a complementally shaped aperture (46) in a support wall 14 and lugs 28, 28a for engagement with recesses (44, 44a) in the wall 14 after engagement of the stud 24 in the aperture (46) and rotation of the bracket 16 through 90 degrees to its operative position, the base 18 having on its opposite face a spring finger 36, a peripheral wall 38 and retainer lugs 42, 42a, the bar 12 being supported with its end trapped between the finger 36 and the wall 38 with the lugs 42, 42a engaged in recesses 48, 48a in the bar 12. In a modification (Figs. 5, 6), the finger (55) extends generally parallel to the peripheral wall (53) and a single-button-like lug (58) is provided to engage a recess in the support wall. |
