The holder is in the form of a tube (1) of slightly larger diameter than a pencil, one end of the tube being equipped with a pencil sharpener blade (3), connected to the remainder of the tube by a flat section forming a hinge (4) so that the blade is at the correct angle to the surface of the pencil when depressed. In variants of the design the pencil holder can also be equipped with a pocket clip and/or an eraser. USE/ADVANTAGE - Combined pencil holder and sharpener which is more convenient to use as it can be kept together.
