PURPOSE:To divide and display both reproducing signals onto a monitoring television and to execute the simultaneous monitoring by synchronizing the reproducing signal of two VTRs in which a reproducing condition is controlled by a common reference signal, with the reference signal and changing over the signal at the field period. CONSTITUTION:A reference signal generating circuit 7 is supplied to the reference signal P of a vertical synchronizing period, and reproducing video signal V1 and V2 and reproducing sound signals A1 and A2 are derivated from VTRs 1 and 2. A switching circuit 9 to control and input the output M of a monomulti 8 with a reference signal P as a trigger input switches over the signals V1 and V2 in the intermediate section of respective fields. The reproducing video signals V1 and V2 are inputted to a synchronizing signal generating circuit 10, the circuit 10 generates the synchronizing signal as long as a reproducing signal is deriveted by at least one side VTR, and a synchronizing inserting circuit 11 inserts the synchronizing signal to the video signal in the switching output. The switching output is supplied through a synchronizing inserting circuit 11 to a monitor television 14 and the signal V1 is reflected at the upper half on the screen and the signal V2 is reflected at the lower half.
