PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of image loss by providing the titled device with a terminal distance setting means for setting up the distance of a pre scribed part to be copied up to a scanning end side terminal part, an arithmetic means and a form feeding delay means. CONSTITUTION:A distance, i.e. a terminal distance l', from the scanning start side terminal part g1 of an original G to the end terminal a2 of a prescribed part A to be copied and a copying magnification M are inputted. The inputted terminal distance l' is multiplied by the copying magnification M, the scanning direction length L of the form P is subtracted from the product l'M and the positive or negative of the difference is decided. When l'M-L>0, the projected length (l'M-L) is added to (l1-l2) and the paper P is stopped at the position of a temporary stop roller 8 only for the time obtained by dividing the added value by form feeding speed V0, and then form feeding is started. Consequently, the terminal end b2 of the prescribed part to be copied coincides with the scan ning end side terminal part p2 of the paper P, so that the image loss is not generated. |
