Mechanical arrangement of the connecting rods and drive shafts to allow the total stroke of the piston to relate only to the amount of force which is comparable to a push on the pedal, the only instant of useful muscular force for a cyclist. The two pistons are face to face, each mounted on a shaft connected to the other by a gear; one of the connecting rods is single, the other is fork shaped.
