PURPOSE:To contrive the miniaturization of an optical system by scanning mirrors which have aspherical curved surfaces with a polygon mirror and obtaining an optional scanning pattern. CONSTITUTION:An optical scanner is equipped with a light source 1 which radiates a light beam 10, the polygon mirror 20 consisting of plural lane mirrors, and the curved surface mirrors 21 which have the aspherical curved surfaces. The light beam 10 projected by the light source 1 irradiates a plane mirror of the polygon mirror 20, which rotates, so the light beam which is reflected by the plane mirror scans the curved-surface mirrors 12. The light beam which is incident on the curved-sorface mirror 21 is reflected at an angle corresponding to the curved surface, so the light scans the curved-surface mirror 21 to obtain a scanning line corresponding to the curved surface with the reflected light. Consequently, the longitudinal space of the device is saved and the scanner is miniaturized. |
