PURPOSE: To obtain a device for engaging and disengaging a cylinder with high accuracy by forming a support point for hooking the circumferential part of a bracing stopper in a hooking throat at a position where a rubber-covered cylinder is disengaged or a position where a rubber-covered cylinder is disengaged with both other cylinders. CONSTITUTION: When a bracing stopper 11 is moved by actuating a process cylinder 14, a rubber-covered cylinder 2 is disengaged with a plate cylinder 1 to form a gap s2 there. In this case, the movement is a straight movement of a point b to move a shaft 2'. Then, when a ring 4' is pivoted by actuating a control rod 7, a stopper 10 us penetrated into a hooking throat 5. The shaft 2' of the rubber-covered cylinder 2 is moved by the force of a spring 9 so as to disengage it with an impression cylinder to form a gap s3 between both cylinders.
