PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of a catalyst at the inlet side due to high temperature and to improve the decrease of the reaction efficiency due to the decrease of the temperature of the catalyst at the outlet. SOLUTION: This reforming device is provided with: a reaction vessel 15 having catalytic layers 17A and 17B for generating a reformed gas containing hydrogen by the reaction of methane 21 being carbon based fuel with steam 25; and a fuel jetting device 27 for charging methane 21 and a 1st oxidizing agent jetting device 31 for charging the steam 25 and air 23 being an oxidizing agent provided in the inlet side of the catalytic layer in the reaction vessel. A 2nd oxidizing agent jetting device 33 for distributing and supplying the air 23 is provided between the catalytic layers 17A and 17B. |
