THE CHARACTERIZATION ADJUSTING APPARATUS OF TUNER

PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling characteristic of a tuner is to put a video signal of a high frequency band on a desired signal frequency of a VHF/UHF band signal generating portion, thereby facilely testing and controlling a video signal characteristic and a VHF/UHF band characteristic of a tuner. CONSTITUTION: A tuner(110) receives a desired signal frequency of a VHF/UHF band signal generating portion(120) and a channel signal of a VHF/UHF band channel selecting portion(130) to generate an intermediate frequency broadcasting signal. A characteristic of the tuner is checked in the form of an oscilloscope waveform thereof so that an error portion is controlled. A video signal generating portion puts video signal of a high frequency band on the desired signal frequency of the VHF/UHF band signal generating portion so that the intermediate frequency video signal is converted into waveform of an oscilloscope(140) and then output. Then, in the video signal generating portion, the error portion of the video signal is corrected.
