ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent electrophotographic characteristics by having a photosensitive layer containing charge transfer material on a conductive substrate and incorporating a phosphinate compound into this photosensitive layer. SOLUTION: The phosphinate compound is incorporated into the photosensitive layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor having the photosensitive layer containing the charge transfer material on the conductive substrate. The phosphinate compound is preferably an aryl phosphinate compound and this aryl phosphinate compound is preferably the alkyl phenyl phosphinate compound expressed by formula. In the formula, R denotes a lower alkyl group. The content of the phosphinate compound is preferably >=0.005 to <=10 wt.% of the weight of the photosensitive layer. In the process for producing the electrophotographic photoreceptor, the phosphinate compound is incorporated into a coating liquid, by which the stability of the coating liquid is greatly improved.
