<p>Machine for automatically welding parts (P1) which need to be assembled. The machine, installed in situ, is characterized in that the detection means (6) include a locating telemeter (61) capable of measuring a selected distance (ML) between the machine (1) and one of the parts (P1), a welding profile (P) having a curvilinear section (TC) where the distance selected is outside a given interval, while a programmable control device (7) is provided with a memory wherein are stored the coordinates of the passing points of a welding torch (40), said coordinates being distributed on the section (TC). The device is also characterized in that it includes first calculation means for determining the location of the passage points and for defining, by circular extrapolation, a series of points defining the curves joining the passage points and corresponding to the curvilinear section (TC), so that a shifting system (5) matches the successive positions of the torch (40) with said section. The invention is suitable for in situ welding, for example to produce membranes for fluid confinement tanks and the like.</p> |
