发明名称 POTENTIAL MONITORING METHOD FOR FUEL CELL CONSTITUTING MEMBER
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a potential monitoring method for fuel cell constituting member capable of obtaining the potential of a fuel cell constituting member with the potential of an electrolyte in the cell as a standard. CONSTITUTION:An electrochemical sensor 40 consisting of a plurality of wires 10, a sheath 20 and a groove cover 50 is utilized to monitor the potential of a fuel cell constituting member which is under operation stop or in the steady state. When the electrochemical sensor 40 makes contact with an electrolyte reservoir plate 70, the electrolyte is penetrated into the groove cover 50 by capillary effect, and a water necessary for electrolytic reaction is supplied between the wires 10. A voltage is applied between the wires 10 of the electrochemical sensor 40 in this state until hydrogen gas is generated from the surface of one wire 10 which forms a hydrogen standard electrode. The voltage of the fuel cell constituting member is determined in relation to the hydrogen standard electrode.
