PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular image display device and method enabling an user to easily recognize the movement of an image, while decreasing the burden of the user. SOLUTION: The vehicular image display device 1 displaces an image so as to cancel the displacement of a detected vehicle or an occupant head portion, and moves a target by the same displacement direction of the same displacement amount of an image when the image is displaced. Especially, a pair of targets adjacent to an upper end and a lower end of a display screen and disposed on opposite angles, and at least either one of the pair of the targets adjacent to a left end and a right end of the display screen and disposed on opposite angles. Therefore, the targets does not exist in an center. Furthermore, even if a fixed target is not displayed, a screen end acts in the same way as the fixed target, so that troublesomeness due to the fixed target is eliminated.
